Are we about to see this unfold on our nightly news? I would say that it may be very likely from this news report out of Saudi Arabia. Its also interesting to note that Israel is getting ready for some thing as well. Finally the last bit of news that points to something going on is yet another news report out of Syria. So, what does all this mean? Hard to say when it will all go down, but be rest assured that it will eventually happen.

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from [being] a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

A quick search of Damascus in Wikipedia gives us this bit of information:

Since Damascus has been continuously inhabited since ancient times, and has never been a “heap of ruins”, this prophecy is still awaiting fulfillment.

I dont think we will have to wait too much longer to see a earth changing event happen in the middle-east. Life as we once knew it in the United States is no longer. Times are tough and getting tougher. Oil is the life blood of our economy and we are being bled dry by the powers that be. This could be a really long post and go into all that, but I don’t have time for all that at the moment. So I will be piecing it all together in the next few posts and see where it goes. Iron Man Inspires!

Here is a cool article from Wired.com about exoskeletons. Not real sure what these have to do with the evolution of said exoskeletons, but some interesting stuff none the less. I will say that Iron Man was one of my all time favorite comic book heroes. Hopefully the movie version will be dripping with awesome, and stick to its comic roots. From what Ive seen of the previews it doesn’t but one can hope. Another thing that I think will get overlooked in the movie is how the suit actually works. Tony Stark was able to carry the suit around in a briefcase and always had it with him. The suit was flexible like a fabric and when an electrical field was applied to it, it became rigid. I don’t think that is the case with the movie version. Gripes aside, at least we are getting to see a big screen version complete with big booms and fireballs and all those fancy FX. Thanks for being cool Iron Man!
