Who am I?

Arkanjel: Gabe Reed

Why Arkanjel? My full name is Gabriel. I was named after the messenger of God in the Bible. I’m not really sure that he qualifies as an Archangel, but I like it none the less. The weird spelling comes from the fact that there are a lot of “Archangels” out there. Also I like the “ark” part of it because it reminds Gods covenant with man.

About me? I am a Christ follower and have been for a long time. I was raised in the church and have had a loving family all my life. I am married to a beautiful woman named Kim, and have two beautiful daughters Jadyn and Ava, and a third on the way. Jadyn is 2 years old and Ava is 11 months old. I currently attend Crossroads Church of Walton County. Before settling in there I went to a Messianic synagogue, Congregation Beth Ha’Mashiah. Whats that you might ask? Its a synangogue thats basically does things the Jewish way while recognizing Jesus as the Messiah. I like to learn about who Jesus (Yeshua) is from both viewpoints, Jewish and gentile. The church has thrown out so much of its original Jewish roots that I think are important, so I want to take it all in. A seeker of knowledge if you will.

Stranger in a Strange Land? We are all aliens to this planet just passing through. This place is not our permanent home and should not be treated as such. We cant take any of it with us when we die, and none of it has any value in the here-after.

Views? Read this blog long enough and you will probably start to get the feel for who I am and what I believe. Sarcasm is a friend of mine and I know him well. I see the world differently than most people do and sometimes it scares me. Why? I’m not really sure. Maybe it s cause it makes me feel like the only one who really “gets it” or maybe its because I’m really just this side of crazy.
